SV	Want dit woord geraakte tot den koning van Nineve, en hij stond op van zijn troon, en deed zijn heerlijk overkleed van zich; en hij bedekte zich met een zak, en zat neder in de as.
WLC	וַיִּגַּ֤ע הַדָּבָר֙ אֶל־מֶ֣לֶך נִֽינְוֵ֔ה וַיָּ֙קָם֙ מִכִּסְאֹ֔ו וַיַּעֲבֵ֥ר אַדַּרְתֹּ֖ו מֵֽעָלָ֑יו וַיְכַ֣ס שַׂ֔ק וַיֵּ֖שֶׁב עַל־הָאֵֽפֶר׃
Trans.	wayyig^a‘ hadāḇār ’el-meleḵ nînəwēh wayyāqām mikisə’wō wayy^a‘ăḇēr ’adarətwō mē‘ālāyw wayəḵas śaq wayyēšeḇ ‘al-hā’ēfer:

AC	ו ויגע הדבר אל מלך נינוה ויקם מכסאו ויעבר אדרתו מעליו ויכס שק וישב על האפר
ASV	And the tidings reached the king of Nineveh, and he arose from his throne, and laid his robe from him, and covered him with sackcloth, and sat in ashes.
BE	And the word came to the king of Nineveh, and he got up from his seat of authority, and took off his robe, and covering himself with haircloth, took his seat in the dust.
